This is Ellhorn Witch of the Elderberry gnome.  She is inspired by the mighty Elder tree that is associated with witchcraft and the fairy people.  The mauve in her hair was hand dyed using Elderberries.  The hand felted gnome hat is a blend of olive green corn fiber; mauve tussah silk noil and linen strands; black merino, bamboo and banana fibers; some gold Angelina fiber for sparkle.  The hat includes a wire for gentle posing.  Ellhorn sits on a 5 inch wooden spoon and has transparent line so she can float around the room.  As well as being adorable, Ellhorn is lightweight and soft to the touch.
