This is an Atticus Kingfisher.  He is inspired by the cute little copper and teal kingfisher. 
His hand felted hat is a blend of mallard green merino, pale teal bamboo, hand dyed copper Blue Faced Leister locks, gold firestar, blue and iridescent Angelina fibres for sparkle.  
The hat includes a wire for gentle posing.  Atticus Kingfisher sits on a 1.5 inch disk to allow free standing.  As well as being adorable, Atticus is lightweight and soft to the touch.
 
He has little flesh coloured cheeks and nose under all those locks.
His beard and hair are made from hand dyed ginger Wensleydale locks that were sourced from an ethical free-range Wensleydale sheep farm in the Cotswolds.
