Introducing Cledwyn Sprout, Gnome of the Forest Lichen!
His name comes from The Cladoniaceae family of lichenized fungi like Reindeer Moss. Many Cladoniaceae lichen grow on soil, decaying wood, tree trunks, and rocks.
Cledwyn blends seamlessly into his natural environment - the shadowy depths of the forest. Needle felted with a unique blend of Merino wool, Corriedale wool, corn fibre, Ryland wool, silk nepps and more, his hat is textured to perfection and is only visible to those who are brave and determined enough to venture into the unknown.
With his squinty eyes, black glass bead pupils, and enigmatic air of mystery, Cledwyn is the perfect addition to any woodland themed décor. He might not be very social, but with a little patience and trust, he's ready to share all the secrets the forest holds.
